I’d like to share my favorite weekday breakfast. In the past, I’ve been known to skip breakfast or eat something that was convenient, but very unhealthy. This has changed, I’ve found something that I love, is nutritious, and super quick to make. Move over cream cheese, there is a new bagel topping in town! This Almond Butter Banana Bagel is a sweet, but protein, vitamin, and mineral filled breakfast.
Bagel (I typically only eat one side of the bagel every morning, but feel free to use both!)
2 Tablespoons of Almond Butter
1 Banana (cut into slices)
A drizzle of honey
- First, toast the bagel to your liking.
- Spread the almond butter on top of the bagel.
- Place the banana slices on the almond butter.
- Lastly, drizzle the honey over the entire bagel.
Super easy! This can be made in under 5 minutes, making it the perfect weekday breakfast. Since I’ve started eating healthier breakfasts, such as this one, I’ve noticed I have more energy to start the day and I stay full until lunch time. I hope you enjoy this breakfast as much as I do!
